[Correspondence] NDVH.
I've taken to eMailing the NDVH (National Domestic Violence Hotline) in attempts to get some kind of reply and direction on what I should do about my cyberstalkers. I've spoken with them previously on the phone about my ex. I gave them a basic run down on my situation and asked if they could possibly help, or at least direct me to someone who could help. The wonderfully understanding and supportive people of NDVH eMailed me back.
Dear Jane,This was the kind of response I was expecting. I knew they wouldn't be in the position to help me but, they at least directed me to get legal advice, which nobody else has even cared enough to tell me anything.
Wow. This sounds like an incredibly tough situation and place to be in.
The difficulty is that here at the National Domestic Violence Hotline we specialize in intimate partner abuse. It sounds like you need legal advice to see what kind of recourse you have in getting your information removed from the internet. You are welcome to call our hotline @ 1-800-799-7233 and we can try to find some legal help in your area. We are open 24/7 and are anonymous and confidential. Hope this helps.
